It was so hard to choose just a few favorite sneak peek photos from Saturdays gorgeous summer wedding at Colonial Hall here in Salem Massachusetts! Delaney & Graham got married in the McIntire Garden surrounded by their family and friends. It was the most perfect summer afternoon spent together. There wasn’t a cloud in the sky and the garden kept us shaded and cool for the ceremony. We started off the day at The Hotel Salem where Delaney was getting ready with all of her girls. Her sister in law did her hair and makeup while everyone else sipped on cocktails and got dressed. The bridesmaids all wore a beautiful sunny yellow, much like the day we were having, while the groomsmen wore dark green suits. Delaney gave out the most thoughtful gifts to her friends, a jellycat bag for her niece, beaded bags for her bridesmaids, and everyone got something that was thrifted from The Salem Flea. We walked over from the hotel to the garden where guests were waiting for the ceremony to begin. After they exchanged vows and said “I do” a trolley passed by and waved on to the newlyweds. Something you truly only see here in Salem. We took a few formal photos with family and friends at the top of the aisle in the garden. It was so wonderful to be here with them again. We also did their engagement session in this very same garden last summer! After group formals were done we whisked the bride and groom away to wrap up the rest of their photos at the iconic Old Town Hall in downtown Salem. From there it was time to party with their guests! They made their way to cocktail hour at Colonial Hall and got to spend some alone time upstairs in the bridal suite before heading down for introductions, toasts, and dinner.
The best part of the reception was when the brides sisters came in and surprised her with a performance of “Super Trouper” by ABBA. Something that she had jokingly been asking them at her wedding ever since she was 9 years old. That really got the party going! They were all dressed up in matching blue and purple spandex suits and put on the performance of a lifetime. We spent the rest of the evening dancing the night away on the dance floor and then they were all off to O’Neills for the after party! Stay tuned for more BTS, sneak peeks, and everything else I’ve been photographing here in Salem lately!

The couple coming down the stairs for their introductions. Their dad gave a blessing and the grooms sister in law gave a heartfelt toast about how much she loved growing up with him and how Delaney and Graham are a perfect match for one another. They thanked their guests for supporting them and being there for their big day.

The bride and groom share their first dance as well as the parent dances. The couple danced to “I Got You Babe” by Sonny and Cher, Delaney danced with her dad to “Delaney Talks to Statues” by Jimmy Buffett, and Graham danced with his mom to “The Rainbow Connection” by Paul Williams (and Kermit the Frog)

Her sisters preform the “Super Trouper” by Abba based on the dances from Mama Mia. This was a dream come true for the bride!

After they cut the cake it was time to party! The dance floor opened up and everyone was dancing with the band playing.
