A few photos from this week’s city hall elopement here in Salem. Massachusetts! These two met in high school in an English class. They were put into a group to help revise the papers they were working on. Class at the time was virtual learning, and they finally met in person at graduation. They started dating only a few days after they met and the rest is history.

We started off the afternoon with the first look in an alleyway next to Salem City Hall. We were able to take a few fun formal photos while we waited for friends to arrive for the ceremony. This included one inspired by one of their favorite anime’s. Once it was time to head inside, they had their ceremony upstairs in the council chambers. Being able to photograph elopements at city hall is so special to me but being in the council’s chambers is the best because that’s where we had our own elopement back in 2022! After they did a ring exchange and said “I do” we headed downtown for the rest of their formal photos.
They ended their night with me at Melt to share a few scoops as newlyweds! After we said our goodbyes, they grabbed dinner with their friends at Village Tavern.
